Shawls used to be an essential part of clothing of both men and women in the old times. But, over time they’ve progressed on to become an essential clothing accessory. The most popular kinds of pashmina fabric available these days are 70% pashmina and 30% silk and 50% pashmina and 50% silk blends. As obvious 70-30 Pashmina shawls are the ones that are generally preferred. They’re known to have a very classy sheen to them. Also they’re tightly woven and light weight this makes them drape beautifully.

Celebrities too have been seen carrying pashmina shawls these days. Demi Lovato, Lindsay Lohan, Cameron Diaz and Taylor Swift have all been seen wearing Pashminas. In fact they’re popular among men too. Off late Brad Pitt, Jake Gyllenhaal and the Jonas Brothers were seen sporting Pashmina Shawls too.
